Gun of the Week: Sig Sauer | May 14-20, 2018
Hey everyone! Ashley here with the Gun of the week.
Y’all seem to have loved having Sig as our Gun of the Week so we’re extending it one more week. We’ll have some amazing prices on all of our Sig firearms.
I’m currently holding the Sig Sauer P220 Double Action Kellerman. It’s a full-sized handgun chambered in a .45 ACP. The P220 has been around since the 1970s but seems to be more popular today than it really ever has been. Currently, there are many different models and variations of the gun, each of which attracts different shooters to the pistol. The standard P220 has a traditional double action/single action trigger pull. This patented trigger system provides double-action performance with a consistent 7.5 pounds of trigger pull, which gives shooters the feel of a double-action trigger, but with a single-action pull weight. The first stroke of the trigger is going to be long and comparatively heavy while the follow-up shots have a short light trigger pull.
The P220’s frame is constructed of lightweight alloy and features a short Picatinny rail for easy mounting of accessories as well as the Sig four-point safety system. The gun has a framed mounted decocker to return the gun into double action mode.
Shooting the Sig P220 is amazing! It’s exceptionally accurate. Shooting a cloverleaf at 15 yards is not impossible with a steady hand and quality ammo. The Sig P220 in its combat variation is designed for service and protection to meet, and exceed rigorous military standards.
Sig is known for quality handguns and this one is no different. So come out try some of the Sigs that we have on our rental wall.
