Hey, how are you? Happy Tuesday to you! Normal, we give you your update on Mondays but we just got back from Shot Show and some of us got a little crud from all those handshakes and networking. You know how it is!
First things first, I would like to introduce you to my incredibly beautiful, most amazing, special guest. My lovely wife, April Davis. So we’re going to dive right into the update and you’ll see in a minute why she’s here. Also, I’m sure you all are so bored of just seeing my ugly mug so I figured we would pretty it up a bit for you all.
Best Discount on Training Courses
I want to remind you really quickly, we’ve got about four days left until our training BOGO is no longer available. This entire month, we’ve gad a buy one, get one half-off of training classes. If you have some classes that you’ve had your eye on or are looking to improve your shooting skills, now is the best time to do it. Take advantage of the special deal before it ends at 9:00 PM on Friday night this week.
Community-Led Events
Don’t forget, tonight is Action Pistol Night. That starts at 6 o’clock and goes to about 8 o’clock. There is a great group of core people that come in every other we
ek to have fun on Action Pistol night. This is a fun event that we do regularly here. It’s a friendly competition. Nobody takes themselves too seriously so there’s no need to feel intimidated. But if you’ve ever thought about moving forward to that line and running some stages with your handguns, this is the place for you. It’s fun to do something just a little bit more than shooting at a static target.
Our Action Pistol Night is one of our community-led events. That means our Texas Gun Club community leads this event and man, they have a great time taking ownership over that night. We just want to invite you to come out and be a part of that.
The Ladies’ Community at Texas Gun Club
We have another community-led event just for the ladies called Gals and Guns that is re-launching tomorrow night. Ladies, you’ve loved this event in the past and have been asking us to bring it back. This ladies’ event happens on the last Wednesday of every month.
We will have a little bit of training for those new to the shooting sports and some range time. Then we can come back into the member lounge and have some yummy eats, something to drink and just get to fellowship, hang out and spill the tea!
It’s just a great time. Put it on your calendar. There are about 10 seats left for this month. Here is the LINK for you to register. If you have never shot before and have a little trepidation, please do not hesitate. Just book it and come. You’re going to have a great First Shots class that will help you feel comfortable and safe on the range. Don’t let being a first-timer intimidate you. You’ll get to meet some wonderful ladies and make new friends.
Guns and Roses Couples’ Contest
Hey, this month coming up is the Month of Love! Yeah! You know we’re going to have something fun going on here at Texas Gun Club.
Grab a partner an
d come participate in our couples’ competition. It starts on February 1st and will run through the entire month. If you ask me, this is a great time to get some bets going with some other couples! We are working on getting some great prizes for you guys. Keep an eye out for more information and registration coming soon!
Learn about the Fast-Draw Community
Hey! The day after Valentine’s Day is also going to be a fun one. On Saturday the 15th, our Cowboy Fast Draw group, The Regulators, are going to have a demonstration day. This is a great opportunity to come meet their members and see what fast draw is all about!
It’s so much fun and another one of our community-led events that we have here. We really want to build a sense of community here at Texas Gun Club and it’s really taken off. The Regulators will have their laser simulator for cowboy fast draw set up for you to come out and try. They’ll be all in their Tombstone garb and looking like the Old West. It’s not something you’ll want to miss. And bring the kids! It’s fun for the entire family.
It’ll be a great way to lead us into the rodeo and rodeo cook-off season. So come and check out The Regulators on Saturday, February 15th. That’s the day after Valentine’s Day.

I don’t know if you know this or not, but all of the spaces here at Texas Gun Club are available for your parties and events. If you are looking for a unique event opportunity, a corporate event, company team-building or just a birthday party, give us a shot!
We have several on the calendar for February. If you are a member, make sure to check your emails for something from Brittanee. We just want to make you aware of any of the short times the member lounge will be booked for a private event.
