This class is the next step that allows the student to work on the basic fundamentals while learning more advanced shooting techniques and help the student better prepare for defensive situations with a firearm.

This class introduces drawing from the holster and reloading drills that will challenge the shooter in new ways.

Handgun 201 a prep course for the Academies in Firearms University.  Once you have completed this course you can join us for our Action Pistol Night and practice drawing from the holster here at Texas Gun Club.

PRICE: $149. Includes class and range fees, ear protection, and target. This course is taught in the classroom and on the range and will be approximately 2-3 hours.

PREREQUISITE: Handgun 101, Level I Proficiency Certificate of Training or Equivalent or pre-qualification by TGC Instructor

INCLUDED: hearing protection, range fees, and target

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

• Handgun*
• Eye protection (available for purchase)
• Ammunition – 200 rounds FMJ (brass)
• Holster and steady belt
• Notepad and writing utensil

PLEASE NOTE:  Texas Gun Club requires a 24-hour notice of cancellation of a lesson/event. In the event you cannot meet your scheduled date/time, please call us and/or email us that you need to cancel.  If we do not receive a cancellation notice 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson/event, you will be issued store credit for your course.  No refunds will be issued.
