The Marksman Academy

  • COST: $499

  • PREREQUISITE: Completion of Academy Prep Handgun 201

  • INCLUDES: ear protection and target

  • DURATION: 6-weeks, beginning on the same night, at the same time as the first night of the session you registered for.

  • EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

    • Semi-automatic pistol with strong side, properly fitted belt holster (no shoulder holsters)
    • Minimum of 2 magazines and two magazine pouches
    • 50 rounds of ammunition per class
    • Hearing and eye protection

The Marksman Academy is a six-week course that is hyper-focused on shooting fundamentals and developing muscle memory. This course aims to ensure that the shooter is exceptionally comfortable with his or her firearm, working through malfunctions, and getting rapid, accurate shots on target from the holster. Administration, tactical and speed reloading, shooting with one hand (strong and weak) are crucial fundamental skills, which will be covered in this class. This class is a prerequisite for GunSlinger Academy.

This course is taught in the classroom and on the range. Registration includes class and range fees, ear protection, and targets.
