This is our basic rifle course.  In this course, you will learn the parts that make up the rifle and how they function.  We teach some valuable safety rules and tips to help you safely enjoy your rifle shooting experiences.

You will learn the basic fundamentals necessary to develop an excellent foundation for shooting a rifle successfully.  This is a wonderful place to start learning how to use your new rifle.

This course is taught in the classroom and on the range.

PRICE: $129. Includes class and range fees, ear protection, and target. This course is taught in the classroom and on the range and will be approximately 2 hours.

PREREQUISITE: None.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

• AR-15/M-4 Platform*
• Eye protection (available for purchase)
• Ammunition – 50 rounds FMJ (brass)
• 3 magazines
• Sling, sight tool, cleaning kit
• Notepad and writing utensil

PLEASE NOTE:  Texas Gun Club requires a 24-hour notice of cancellation of a lesson/event. In the event you cannot meet your scheduled date/time, please call us and/or email us that you need to cancel.  If we do not receive a cancellation notice 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson/event, you will be issued store credit for your course.  No refunds will be issued.
